1-Purpose
This policy outlines IIE’s quality assurance processes, including the monitoring and reviewing of trainer/assessor performance. It ensures continuous improvement, compliance with regulatory standards, and consistent delivery of high-quality training and assessment.
2- Scope
This policy applies to:

All trainers and assessors engaged by IIE.

Management and compliance staff responsible for quality assurance.

4- Quality Assurance Processes
IIE will maintain a quality assurance framework that includes:

Regular audits of training and assessment materials.

Monitoring of trainer compliance with qualification and currency requirements.

Continuous improvement based on data, feedback, and review outcomes.
5-Trainer Performance Monitoring Methods
Trainer performance will be monitored and reviewed through a range of methods, including:
1- Classroom/Session Observations

Trainers are observed by senior staff or peers at least annually.

Observation covers training delivery, assessment practices, learner engagement, and compliance.
2- Student Feedback

Regular student evaluations are conducted after training sessions.

Feedback is analysed to identify trainer strengths and areas for improvement.
3- Assessment Review

Trainers’ assessments are subject to validation/moderation to ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance.
4- Professional Development and Industry Currency

Trainers must provide evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

Trainers must demonstrate ongoing industry engagement to maintain vocational currency.
5- Performance Appraisals

Formal performance reviews are conducted annually.

Reviews consider delivery quality, student outcomes, compliance, and professional behavior.
6- Compliance Checks

Regular audits confirm trainers hold required qualifications.

Record-keeping and reporting practices are reviewed.
7- Complaints and Incidents

Complaints, appeals, or incident reports involving trainers are reviewed and addressed in line with IIE procedures.
6- Review and Improvement

Trainer performance results will be documented and stored securely.

Improvement plans will be developed for trainers where gaps are identified.

Trainers will be supported through coaching, mentoring, and CPD opportunities.

Overall IIE performance will be reviewed quarterly, with outcomes recorded in the Continuous Improvement Register.
8- Responsibilities

CEO/Director: Ensure quality assurance framework is implemented effectively.

Training/Academic Manager: Conduct observations, appraisals, and provide mentoring.

Compliance Officer: Monitor regulatory requirements, maintain records, and oversee audits.

Trainers/Assessors: Actively participate in reviews, maintain CPD, and engage in continuous improvement.
