The Insurance Institute of Egypt (IIE), a training and education organization established in 1975, assists the Egyptian insurance industry in developing qualified personnel. Through research, study, scientific publications, education, training and consultation and to enhance the role of the insurance industry in the national economy.

The boards of directors of Egypt’s four public-sector insurance companies approved the establishment of the Insurance Institute of Egypt.
The Insurance Institute of Egypt officially joined the Chartered Insurance Institute in London at the General Conference held in Coventry, United Kingdom.
The Insurance Institute of Egypt obtained accreditation from the Chartered Insurance Institute in London to deliver CII curricula in Arabic and English under its review and supervision. Approval and accreditation are renewed annually in accordance with its standards. The Chartered Insurance Institute in London is responsible for the qualifications, assessments, certificates and examinations associated with these curricula.
IIE delivers the CII-accredited Medical Insurance Diploma and Advanced Reinsurance Diploma. The accreditation is reviewed annually to confirm the continuing quality of education standards and learning objectives and compliance with approved requirements and updates.
