4^th Advanced Professional Reinsurance Diploma “English”

The Insurance Institute of Egypt “IIE “has the pleasure to announce the arrangement of its First Advanced Professional reinsurance Diploma in English.

The proposed Diploma will take place in Cairo at the Institute .The duration of the Diploma will be for 6 months.

The Diploma will consist of lectures, workshops and case studies sessions. The lecture will be two days a week on Saturday at 10.00 am and on Tuesday at 2.00 pm.  each for four hours.

The topics of the Diploma will cover all issues related to reinsurance more specifically

1)   Purpose of and parties involved in reinsurance.

2)   Different types of Reinsurance

3)   Features and operation of facultative reinsurance.

4)   Feature and operation of proportional reinsurance treaties.

5)   Features and operation of non- proportional reinsurance treaties.

6)   Reinsurance markets.

7)  Life Reinsurance

8)  Reinsurance Programme

9)  Alternative to Conventional Reinsurance

10)  Legal issues relating to reinsurance.

11)  Reinsurance Contract wordings.

12)  Casualty reinsurance.

13)  Property reinsurance.

14)  Engineering Reinsurance

15)  Marine Reinsurance.

16)  Energy, Oil & Gaz

17)  Aviation reinsurance.

Targeted participants are those who are:

1)  Reinsurance department specialists with have more than 3 years of working experience.

Or

2) Who will sit for the CII exams.

Or

3) Those that had already passed the previous five Reinsurance Diplomas.

As the lectures, materials and exams will be in English, we recommend nominated candidates should be excellent in English language.

The tutors are highly educated mostly holding of CII associate and fellow degree, having long established working experience and holding high ranking positions.

At the end of the course the participant will receive Recognized Certificate of Advanced Professional diploma in Reinsurance from the IIE.
